Richard Alker, Co-founder & Executive Director
Born in the British Isles, Mr. Alker started his career in the daily newspaper industry, went on to establish himself as a General Sales Manager for a mainstream magazine publisher before being appointed as Senior Manager, Retail Planning and Development for one of Europe’s major financial Institutions. Some seven years later he joined a well recognized Advertising and PR agency as Group Development Director, and, after successfully winning and managing some mainstream accounts, immigrated in 2004 with his family to Florida.

Glenn Swift, Co-founder & Editor in Chief
Mr. Swift has written for a number of high-end publications across the United States, and over the past decade has established himself as one of South Florida’s leading journalists. Winner of the Florida Magazine Association’s Bronze Award for Excellence in Writing, Swift hosted his own radio show, Celebrity Spotlight, for WSVU Seaview AM 960. Swift is also the former Managing Editor of California-based Kettley Publishing (now Advisys), one of the nation’s most highly respected e-publishers for the financial services industry.

Julie Tarasovic, Co-Publisher/Editor
Julie’s career, accomplishments, and assignments in the magazine industry are all about lifestyle. After graduating from the University of Vermont in 1988, and spending a year living and studying in Zurich, Switzerland, Julie started as Assistant Editor of Jax Fax Travel Magazine, a travel trade magazine with a national circulation of 30,000. She traveled the globe extensively writing and researching feature stories on leisure travel. She soon moved up to Editor-in-Chief and managed a group of 20 contributing editors and writers.

In 1994 Julie became an Associate Editor at SKI Magazine, then based in Manhattan. She created, designed, and edited two national columns as well as covered the Northeast U.S. and European ski areas. Three years later Julie began freelance work for a diversified group of trade and consumer magazines, including Brides Magazine, Skiing Trade News, Diversion Magazine, Vero Beach Magazine, Indian River Magazine, Boston Magazine, SKI Magazine, Dockwalk, Boat International USA Magazine, Sports Traveler, mysportsguru.com., Improper Bostonian, Snowboard Life, and Vero Beach 32963. In 2002 Julie founded and created Coastal Boating Magazine, a bi-monthly boating lifestyle publication based in Vero Beach, FL. She directed the design, format and editorial style of the magazine, which enjoyed success for three years.

Dori Beeler, Art Director
A native Southern Californian, Dori Dixon graduated with a BFA from Cal State University Fullerton in 1995 with an emphasis in Graphic Design and Illustration. Since graduating, Dixon has worked professionally in the graphic design industry for numerous companies and six years ago founded her own firm, D3Grafx, Inc., where she serves as operating project manager and senior graphic designer. Her vast experience ranges from developing Web sites to illustrating high-end craft books.
